"I...want...that...butterfly!"
"...I'm not a step you climb up to hunt the butterfly..."
Cats don't care that you are at work or that you don't feel like playing with. They'll force you to play, or simply, they run on you while you are lying in a couch. Combining that atmosphere with a car may sound ridiculous, and in reality it was hard to mix them up in a natural way, but that's what poped up in my mind, and I just tried to realize it.
At the same time, I wanted to make it another practice, so I did everything by hand, as I did it in the last deviation.
To those people who'd ask how I did it: again, there's no how. Though I made use of layer transparency and some modes, basically what I use are default brushes and erasers. I don't have special brushes, I didn't use only-I-know filter methods, I don't have magic powder. As I said it above, this is just a result of practice with trials and errors. Only with patience and effort, would I say.
Everything from sketches and lineart through painting and effects done on Photoshop6.0 + Intuos3.
Hope you like it.
---- EDIT from HERE ----
Reposted to remove the embarrassing blue noise on the guy's left arm, which is not supposed to be there.
Many thanks to the deviants who let me know it! I really appreciate it.
And sorry if you're bothered to see it twice.
To the people who downloaded it: please download it again to get the correct image.
---- END of EDIT ----
That is possibly one of the cutest pictures that I have ever seen! Its so fun and playful, yet so sweet an innocent! I just love it when people make there neko characters chase things, its just so cute and sweet! As well, amazing attention to detail in this, in not only the colouring and tones, but also the anatomic perfection. All the angles work perfectly with the limb size and position and there isnt anything in this picture that I look at and go, "that looks uncomfortable", as I often tend to do. Awesome doesn't do this picture credit.
Kawaii desune~! Breath-taking and the coloring and line art... phenomenal~! You're such a talented artist, all your deviations are all beautiful~! Thank you so much for your helpful tutorials~! TAT
You're work is to die for! ;w; -shot- -dies- And I can't wait to see more.
