The sudden shower is now gone, and the clear, delightful sunshine blesses you...
Japan is not a tropical country. ( Certainly not!
) Yet we sometimes have a sudden shower in summer. It's just short, and quickly gone in several minutes, after soaking up everything from birds and grasses to buildings and our clothes. Then, the sun appears from behind clouds, giving crystal shines to all drips and beads the shower left behind. It just makes me smile.
I've been trying to change things around me. Software, environment, drawing scheme and so, to get some more steps forward. Some seems to have failed, some looks to be effective, but I don't really know if I got improved from them. At my age it's quite hard to get a drastic change, but, well, time will tell.
To those who'd ask how I did it: there's no how. Everything's drawn by hand. Though I use function-rich Photoshop CS3, tools I mainly use are brushes and erasers, so there's no secret tool.
Everything from sketches and lineart through painting and effects done on PhotoshopCS3 + Intuos3.
Hope you like it.
