This is a tutorial for how to paint anime-styled hair on Photoshop, based on my experience.
This tutorial is for those people who are in favor of anime style. If you are not an anime-styled artist, probably it won't help you.

Since this is an application of soft cell shading, please read SOFT CELL SHADING TUTORIAL first, if you are not familiar with it. Otherwize you may be confused with some of techniques used in this tutorial.

The version of Photoshop used in the tutorial is 6. If you use later versions, names of tools/modes and/or allocation of shortcut keys might be different.
I'm working on Windows, so if you use Mac please change these notations as: Ctrl to Command, Alt to Option.
